A common written examination is conducted for recruitment of Probationary Officers and Management Trainees. Recruitment to 19 public sector banks is held through Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai. 4 common extrance exams are conducted every year throughout the country. The score gien by IBPS is valid for one year.

Eligibility: Grauduates from reputed University in the age group of 20-30 years can appear for common test.
