Note 1: The number of vacancies is tentative and may increase or decrease at the time

of final selection.

2. The crucial date for reckoning the age limit is the last date of receipt of application.

However, age relaxation in respect of followings will be applicable as per Govt

instructions as under:- (i) 03 years for the candidates belonging to OBC, (ii) 05 years for

the candidates belonging to SC/ST category, (iii) 10 years for the candidates belonging

to Physically Handicapped., (Additional 05 years in case of Physically Handicapped

belonging to SC, ST & 03 years for OBC category), (iv) Ex-servicemen: Ex-serviceman

who have rendered not less than 06 months of continuous service after attestation in the

Armed forces shall be allowed to deduct the full period of such service from their actual

age in the resultant age does not exceed the prescribed maximum age by more than

three years, they shall be deemed to be within age limits, (v) SC/ST/OBC candidates

applying against UNRESERVED post are not entitled to any relaxation in age limit,

experience etc, (vi) Departmental Employees with three years continuous service:- 40

years for UR, 43 years for OBC, 45 years for SC/ST.

3. Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of competitive examination.

Competitive examination will consist of two parts (a) Written examination of 100 marks

and (b) Typing test/shorthand test/ trade test as applicable to the post, which is of

qualifying nature. The written test will consist of multiple-choice questions of (i) General

Intelligence and Reasoning (ii) Numerical Aptitude (iii) General English (iv) General

Awareness. Written examination will be of two (02) hours duration. The standard of

written test will be based on the minimum education qualification prescribed for the post.

Candidates, who qualify the written examination, will be called for Typing test/shorthand

test/trade test applicable to the post applied for. The number of candidates to be called

for will be five to seven times of no. of vacancies.

Note: Issue of admit card or calling for typing test/shorthand test/ trade test does not in

any manner confer any right of offer of appointment.

4. General Instructions:-

4.1 Application received after due date will not be considered and unit/depot will not be

responsible for any kind of postal delay.

Pre-scrutiny of the application in terms of age limit, minimum qualification

documents and certificates will be carried out by the respective Unit/Depot before

calling the suitable candidates for the written test/skill/trade/physical test.

The Centre for examination for written test/skill/trade/physical test will ordinarily

be the place where application is submitted and the same will be intimated to the

candidate in due course.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/skill/trade/physical test.

Selected candidate will be subjected to all India Service liability.

Merely fulfilling the basic selection criteria does not automatically entitle a person

to be called for written test/skill/trade/physical test.

Candidates are to bring original certificates viz. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWBD/ESM,

educational qualification/technical qualification and experience certificates at the

time of the skill/trade/physical test.

There will be simultaneous conduct of test for all categories of posts. The

responsibility of deciding the category of post(s) for which the candidate would like

to appear will be the choice of candidate himself.

No separate exam will be conducted for candidates applying for more than one

category of posts, if the exams are held on the same date.

4.10 Application should be sent by Registered/Ordinary post only. No application will be
received by hand or by courier.

4.11 Incomplete application will be summarily rejected and no correspondence in this
regard will be entertained.

All documents in support of education qualification, Age, Technical qualification,
Physically Handicapped, Experience Certificate & Caste Certificate (issued
by the competent civil authorities in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates) etc to be
accompanied with the application should be self-attested.

In case of appointment of OBC candidates against the reserved quota, the caste
listed under Central list are only eligible for appointment to Central Service. The
latest rules with regard to creamy layer in OBC are to be followed. Candidates
seeking reservation as OBC is required to submit a certificate alongwith application
to the effect that he/she does not belong to any of the creamy layer.

In case of ex-servicemen self attested photocopy of discharge book is to be
submitted alongwith the application.

Application form duly typed in English/Hindi with recent photograph (passport size)
duly self- attested, any other supporting document (self attested), Self addressed
enveloped with stamps(s) of Rs.10/- pasted thereon. Address should be typed in
English/Hindi.

Two passport size photographs (same as fixed on the application form).

Separate application for each post should be submitted. Applicant to mention
clearly on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OfF............... AND

Candidates will full in the application form and Admit Card in own handwriting
and send it to concerned unit where they will apply for the concerned post by
Registered/Ordinary post only.

Filled in Admit Card by prospective candidates will be duly scrutinized to the
