Walk in interview on 25" March, 2026

A walk-in interview will be held for the following temporary contractual post under the DBT
(Department of Biotechnology), Government of India funded project entitled: “Designing plant based
smart proteins to mimic the properties of animal proteins ensuring widespread consumer
adoption and satisfaction.” (Duration of Project: 2 years)

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for Project Associate—I (Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years
for SC/ST/W omen candidates as per Government of India rules).

Candidate should report at Division of Biochemistry, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa
Campus, New Delhi 110 012, on 25th March, 2026 for interview. The time for interview will be
allotted separately to each candidate after verifying the certificate.

e — * Bio-data as per the format given in Annexure—I should be submitted along with self-attested
copies of certificates and mark sheets of 10th, 12th, Under-graduation, Post-graduation
(M.Sc./M.Tech) and any other relevant certificates (experience/NET/GATE/BET, if applicable).
Candidates should affix a recent passport-size photograph on the bio-data. The bio-data must
clearly indicate academic qualifications starting from 10th Standard up to the highest qualification,
with percentage/OGPA, distinctions/medals (if any), and relevant research experience. This
information will be used for academic scoring and shortlisting. Incomplete bio-data or failure to
provide marks and supporting self-attested certificates will lead to non-consideration of academic
score and may result in rejection of the candidature.

e The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis for an initial period of
one year or project duration whichever is earlier, which may be extended on yearly basis after
satisfactory performance of the incumbent till termination of the scheme. There is no provision of
re-engagement after termination of scheme. Selected candidate shall not claim for regular
appointment at this institute as the fellowship is co-terminus with respective scheme.
