Update: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has officially released the IB MTS City Intimation Slip 2026 on 08 January 2026. Candidates appearing for the Intelligence Bureau Multi Tasking Staff examination can now check their exam city, date, and shift timing.
The city slip is an advance notice to help candidates plan their travel. The Admit Card will be released a few days before the exam date. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on 27 January 2026.

- Visit the official MHA website or click the direct link above.
- Look for the “IB MTS City Intimation Slip 2026” login section.
- Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY).
- Enter the Captcha Code shown on the screen.
- Click Submit to view your city slip.
- Download and save the PDF for future reference.
Documents to Carry on Exam Day
- Admit Card: (To be released soon) Printed copy required.
- Photo ID Proof: Original + Photocopy (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, or PAN Card).
- Passport Size Photograph: Same as the one uploaded in the application form.
Important Instructions
- The City Intimation Slip is NOT the Admit Card. You cannot enter the exam hall with the city slip alone.
- The exact exam center address will be mentioned only in the Admit Card.
- Arrive at the exam center at the reporting time mentioned on your slip.
- Strictly follow the gate closing time; no entry is allowed after that.
- Electronic devices, smartwatches, and bags are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
