Ind Bank Housing Limited was established in the year 1991 with the objective of providing Housing Loan to the eligible borrowers. The registered office of the company is situated at Khivraj Complex No.I, Third Floor, 480 Annai Salai, Nandanam, Chennai 600035. The Company received very good support from the parent orgainsation, Indian Bank and could do very good business in the initial years.

However, due to slackness in real estate sector, the company ran into rough weather from the year 2000 with mouting NPAs. The company stopped fresh lending and decided to concentrate on recovery of existing loans. However, due to changes in market conditions, availability of Government subsidy for individual housing loans coming under PMAY scheme, the company intiated steps for restarting its operations.
