Kerala TET Eligibility For Category I Lower Primary Teacher (Classes 1 to 5)
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and also must have passed Trained Teachers Certificate or Diploma in Education (TTCDEd/ DLEd). (or)
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks with 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. (or)
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary with 50% marks and have qualified in B.El.Ed (or)
Candidates must have 12th/ 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks and qualification certificate of the 2-year teacher training course (TTC) conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent.
12th/ 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and a degree in 4 years B.El.Ed.
KTET Eligibility For Category II Upper Primary Teacher (Classes 6 to 8)
B.Ed. For the course Two-year Diploma/TTC/ D.Ed/D.L.Ed in Elementary Education along with any other eligible degree to apply. (or)
B.Ed with 45% marks. Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/ DLEd qualification along with any eligible degree to apply for the course (rules issued by NCTE from time to time will be applicable). Otherwise
4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) with pass in Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (Equivalent) with 50% marks Otherwise 4 years B.Sc/ BA in Education (BA.Ed Or B.Sc.Ed) with pass in Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (Equivalent) with 50% marks.
KTET Eligibility For Category III High School Teacher (Classes 9 to 12)
This examination is conducted by High School Assistant (HSA) (i) Malayalam, (ii) English, (iii) Hindi, (iv) Sanskrit (v) Tamil (vi) Kannada, (vii) Arabic, (viii) Urdu (ix) Social Science. (x) Physical Science (xi) Natural Science (xii) Mathematics is for the aspirants.
Minimum Eligibility to Apply Marked BA/BSc/BCom 1. 45% and eligibility Yes Should also have B.Ed degree in the subject. (Must have qualified from any University of Kerala or other recognized Universities) Otherwise
Candidates who get admission to B.Ed based on the marks obtained in the post-graduation degree can write the K-TET exam
Degree holders in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and having MSc Education (MSc Ed) degree in the same subject with not less than 50% marks can apply for category 3.
Kerala TET Eligibility For Category IV
This exam is conducted for those aspiring to become Arabic/ Hindi/ Sanskrit/ Urdu up to UP level, specialist teachers, sports teachers (up to high school level) and art & craft teachers (as per government norms till NCTE declares minimum qualification).
Candidates who have qualified as Arabic /Hindi/ Sanskrit and Urdu language teachers (up to UP level) Specialist teachers, Sports teachers (who have qualified as mentioned in Kerala Educational Act & Rules Chapter xxxi) can apply for Category-4 examination.
Candidates having Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in teaching in any subject, and are approved by Universities/ NCTE/ Board of Examinations/ Government of Kerala can apply for KTET Category 4 Exam.
Application Fee
The application fee for each category will be Rs.500/-
Rs.250/- (Rupees one thousand only) for SC/ ST and Differently abled.

Now click on the KTE Notification 2024 to check your eligibility.
After going through the KTET Notification 2024 you can proceed to fill out the KTET Application Form 2024.
Candidates have to submit all the required fields that are asked in the application form.
And next, have to pay the application fee that is prescribed by the officials.
And before the final submission of the application kindly verify all the details you have provided and then click on the “Submit” button.
Finally, take a copy of the Kerala TET Application Form for the sake of future reference.
Category-I for those who have obtained basic qualifications to become teachers in lower primary classes
Category-II for those who have qualified as teachers in upper primary classes
Category III for those who have obtained basic qualifications to become teachers in high school classes
Category-IV for those qualified as language teachers up to UP level, sports teachers, and special teachers.
