Recruitment Details
NISR is inviting applications for various positions on a contractual basis. The contract will initially be for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funds. Here are the details of the available positions:
Medical Officer
- Qualifications: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) or Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) or Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) or Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Salary: Rs. 50,000/- per month (consolidated)
Staff Nurse
- Qualifications: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Qualifications: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in dispensing of drugs
- Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month (consolidated)
Storekeeper
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in handling stores/purchase/procurement

Eligibility Criteria

It was established in 2016 with the aim of promoting and developing the ancient Tibetan system of medicine known as Sowa Rigpa. The institute is located in Leh, the capital city of Ladakh, and is the first of its kind in India.
