Eligibility Criteria:

Selection Process:

  • Computer-Based Test (CBT): The first stage of the selection process is a CBT that tests candidates’ knowledge in areas such as General Awareness, Arithmetic, and General Intelligence & Reasoning.
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify in the CBT undergo a PET that includes tasks like running, long jump, and high jump.
  • Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates’ physical measurements such as height and chest size are checked to ensure they meet the prescribed standards.
  • Document Verification: Candidates who clear the PET and PMT are called for document verification.
  • Medical Examination: Finally, candidates undergo a medical examination to ensure they are fit for the job.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) is a security force of India entrusted with protecting railway passengers, passenger area, and railway property of the Indian Railways. The force is under the authority of the Ministry of Railways (India). Its duties include:
