Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary position of Post–Doctoral Fellow to work in the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA 2.0) sponsored thematic research project “Component 10: Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement” - Social Sciences underthe supervision of Prof. N. Manimekalai, RUSA SS Project Coordinator, Bharathidasan University, Khajamalai Campus, Tiruchirappalli -620 023.
1. Name of the Post : Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) - 1 No. (Central Theme)
2. Area of work : Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in Urban and Peri-Urban areas in Tamil Nadu - Challenges and Concerns of Gender, Environment, and Marginalized Communities
3. Duration : One Year The position is purely temporary, with an initial appointment for one year, and extendable to one additional year. The position is co-terminus with the project.
4. Qualifications : Ph.D. in Women’s Studies / Social Sciences with the minimum of 60 % marks / CGPA 6.1 and above in Post-Graduation in Women’s Studies / Social Sciences with a complete track record of ten Research publications on the theme of the Project
5. Preferred : Analytical Skills to analyze both quantitative & qualitative data, digitalized data. Good communication skills and competence to write quarterly research papers and write research reports from an interdisciplinary perspective. Proficiency to read & write in Tamil & English with statistical interpretation skills and guide the research staff of the project in delegating the work. Independent in co-coordinating with Project Fellows.
6. Fellowship : Rs. 47,000/-pm (consolidated)

Selection Procedure
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The Interview will be in online Mode probably on 15th February 2022.

4. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview
