Educational Qualification: 12TH
1. Name of Position: Field Assistant
2. Number of Position: Four
3. Essential Qualification:10+2 or Intermediate
4. Desirable Qualification: working knowledge of rice cultivation, germination, transplanting, weeding, harvesting and maintenance of rice field
5. Job requirement:
i. The position is based at CCMB Hyderabad and requires a continuous commitment upto March 2023
ii. Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision in the field.
iii. Willingness to work in harsh field conditions, and stay in the field for extended periods and assist the researcher/scientist in the field and other research work.
iv. Good knowledge about the rice cultivation practices some prior experience of working with research teams is required.
6. Remuneration per month: Rs.16,000/- p.m. consolidated.

Selection Procedure

The Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (CCMB) is a premier research organisation in frontier areas of modern biology. The objectives of CCMB is to conduct high-quality basic research and training in frontier areas of modern biology and promote centralised national facilities for new and modern techniques in the inter-disciplinary areas of biology.
CCMB was set up initially as a semi-autonomous Centre on April 1, 1977. Earlier, the Governing Board of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) New Delhi approved the proposal in 1976 to establish such a Centre in view of the importance of research in the frontier and multi-disciplinary areas of modern biology. During 1981-82, the CCMB was accorded the status of a full-fledged national laboratory with its own Executive Committee and Scientific Advisory Council.
