Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for working in recently sanctioned projects of CSIR-CSMCRI by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi, entitled “Identification of Potential Locations across India for Seaweed Cultivation and valorisation technologies – WP-6 Seaweed based formulations/sap for reduced disease susceptibility in important oil yielding crops peanut and sesame.” at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar. The details of posts are as following:
1. Post Name: Senior Project Associate: (1 Post)
2. Qualification: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Botany/Plant Science/ Biological Science. Minimum three publications in SCI journal is essential.
3. The selected candidates will work on Physiological, Biochemical, molecular biology and biotechnology related project activities in WP-6.
4. Emoluments: CSIR Senior Project Associate: ₹ 42,000+HRA /- per month)
5. Final year appearing students (M. Sc.) don’t apply.

Consequently, the Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) was established to foster research and development in this vital industry.
