Central Tool Room (CTR) Ludhiana, is a Indo-German Project setup under bilateral agreement on Technical Cooperation between Government of India & Government of Germany in year 1980, Under the administrative control of Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India.

The main aim & objective of Central Tool Room (CTR), is to increases the efficiency of small scale units in light engineering and allied fields by providing support in the design and production of tool and jigs, fixture as well as by rendering technical consultancy services and manufacture tools such as press tool, jigs, fixture, moulds, dies and special purpose tools etc.

Central Tool Room (CTR) offers all the Certificate Courses, Diploma and Post Diploma Courses and Training to promote a purposeful education for youth in India , this Courses covers spectrum of technical manpower to the industries and enterprises involved in new product development.
