Walk-In-Interview will be conducted for purely project based temporary position at KosiKatarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute. 1. NMHS funded project entitled ‘Spring Rejuvenation for Water Security in Himalaya’ 2. Name of the Post: Junior Project Fellow (JPF)/ Project Assistant 3. Number of Post: 01 Nos 4. Salary: @ Rs 20000.00 + 8% HRA 5. Qualification - Essential : First class Masters in Geology/Earth Science/ Soil & Water Conservation Engg./ Environmental Science/ Environmental Engg. from recognized university 6. Desirable:- Preference will be given to the candidates having research experience/ knowledge of groundwater recharge experimentation planning, hydrogeological investigation for groundwater recharge, watershed/ springshed management hydrogeological simulation modeling, soil and water conservation, application of RS and GIS etc. 7. Job description and preference for candidate : a) Field data collection and analysis
b) Hydro-geological studies/ investigation on related to spring rejuvenation, its mapping using RS and GIS
c) Laboratory analysis
d) Scientific Report writing
e) Help PIs and JRF in project related work

Candidates have appropriate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with consistently good experience may appear for Walk-InInterview on 17.11.2021 (11:00 AM onwards). Candidates appearing for Interview must bring all original copies (with xerox copy) of certificates, testimonials, experience etc along with an application. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the Interview. Candidates are advised to wear mask and observe social distancing and follow instructions related to COVID19.
