Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech
Applications are invited from eligible Indian national for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a time bound SERB project undertaken in the Department of Chemical Engineering.
1. Temporary Position: Junior Research Fellow - 1
2. Essential Qualification:
Junior Research Fellow - 1 BE/BTech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree with a minimum of 65% marks and Gate score or ME/ M.Tech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree with minimum of 60% marks.
3. Project Title: Process topology based computational methods for sensor and actuator placement in large scale systems
4. No. of positions: One
5. Desired Skills:
Must have a strong mathematical background in one or more of the following areas: Numerical Methods, Optimization, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics Must have a strong programming skill in MATLAB and/or Python Must be willing to work efficiently in a team environment, self-motivated, and work under a variety of challenging research conditions Must have good oral and written communication skills Must demonstrate highest work ethics
6. Nature of Work: This project involves developing computational methods for solving large scale optimization problems.
7. Consolidated monthly Salary: JRF- Rs. 31,000 + 8% HRA per month

9. Tenure of Assignment: 6 Months, Extendable another 18 months subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
