Educational Qualification: M.E/M.Tech, M.Phil/Ph.D
Applications are invited from eligible Indian national for the post of Senior research fellow (SRF) in a time bound GTRE sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

3. Essential Qualification :
a) M.Tech/PhD in Mechanical Engineering/ Material and Metallurgical Engineering/ Material Science Engineering/ or equivalent degree with minimum of 60% marks.
b) 2 Years of Research (experimental and simulation) Experience in the relevant area (manufacturing process, metal forming, forging)
4. Project Title : Development of Titanium Envelop forgings for compressor aerofoils
5. Sponsoring Agency : Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO)
6. Consolidated monthly Salary : SRF- Rs. 35,000 + HRA per month
7. Principal Investigator (IITT) : Dr. Ajay Kumar
8. Department : Mechanical Engineering
9. Tenure of Assignment : 01 Year, Extendable another one year subject to satisfactory performance

Selection Procedure
The shortlisted candidates will be informed by E-mail only. Selection will be based on the qualification, experience and interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Interview shall be conducted in the last week of February 2022. Candidate may appear in the interview through video conferencing. IIT Tirupati reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof
