An online interview will be conducted on the 21st October, 2021 at 10.30 AM at Forest Research Centre for Livelihood Extension (FRC-LE), Sal Forest Campus, Gandhigram, Agartala, Tripura (West) for appointment of the following:

Selection Procedure
Only the shortlisted candidates who fulfill all the above eligibility conditions shall be admitted for attending the online interview.
How to Apply:
1. Candidates are advised to submit the dully filled application form in the prescribed format along with the self attested copies of all the educational qualifications, experience certificates and other relevant documents not later than 10.00 am to 5.30. PM of 19th October, 2021.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Important Instructions:
1. The applicant must have provided his/her valid E-mail ID/Mobile Number in the application form to which Online Link for attending the interview shall be shared by the 20th October, 2021.
2. Candidates working in Government/ Public sector undertakings, autonomous organizations must obtain a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer and submit it along with the application form.
3. Upper age limit is 28 years as on 01.01.2021 with relaxation in respect of SC/ST and OBC candidates up to a maximum of 5 & 3 years respectively.
4. The applicants should ensure that they satisfy & fulfil the following eligibility conditions & criteria.
5. Final appointment shall be subject to verification and authenticity of original documents.
6. Recruitment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and does not guarantee subsequent employment in any Institutes/Centres under the Council.
7. No TA/DA will be paid for participating in the Interview. 8. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification of the candidate.

Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), an apex body in the national forestry research system, has been undertaking the holistic development of forestry research through need based planning, promoting, conducting and coordinating research, education and extension covering all aspects of forestry.
Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Environment and Forests. It was created in 1986. The main functions of ICFRE are to conduct forestry research; transfer the technologies developed to the states of India and other user agencies; and to impart forestry education. The Council deals with the solution based forestry research in tune with the emerging issues in the sector, including global concerns such as climate change, conservation of biological diversity, combating desertification and sustainable management and development of resources.
ICFRE functions are to conduct forestry research; transfer the technologies developed to the states of the country and other user agencies; and to impart forestry education. The council has research institutes and advanced centres located at Dehradun, Shimla, Ranchi, Jorhat, Jabalpur, Jodhpur, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Allahabad, Chhindwara, Aizawl, Hyderabad and Agartala.
Research perspectives are - Conservation, protection, regeneration, rehabilitation of natural forest ecosystems; Revegetation of barren, waste, marginal and mined lands, Research on tree improvement, Ecological rehabilitation of all fragile ecosystems.
