IISER Pune Invites Application for Research Associate Recruitment 2021

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. Institute invites applications from Indian nationals having excellent academic record for the following position purely on temporary and contractual basis under the funded project:

5. Minimum Educational Qualification Ph.D. in Mathematics from a recognized University / Institute Candidates who have submitted their thesis may also apply

6. Preference: Candidates having research experience in the area of group theory, finite groups of Lie type, algebraic groups will be preferred.

7. Tenure of the appointment: Initially for a period of 8 months, extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.

8. Consolidated emoluments: Rs.47, 000/- + 24% HRA per month. Candidates who have submitted their thesis but not completed defense (i.e. candidates without a provisional certificate of having qualified for the degree), will be designated as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and paid Rs. 35,000/- + 24% HRA till the time of submission of Provisional Ph.D. certificate.
