Skills / Eligibility
The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following position purely on contract basis: Recruitment for the post of “Project Associate - 1” under DST-SERB funded project 1. Post Name: Project Associate I 2. Name of the project: Towards development of fluorophores of predictable fluorescence: A comprehensive investigation of fluorescence characteristics of fluorescein 3. Minimum qualifications: M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry (or) equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade. 4. Desirable: Candidates having experience in quantum chemical calculations/excited state quantum chemistry. 5. Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- + 8% HRA per month. Rs. 31,000 + 8% HRA per month based on valid CSIR / UGC-JRF / NET / GATE / Qualified National Level Test conducted by Central Govt. Depts. and their agencies 6. No. of posts: One (01) – (Computational Quantum Chemistry) 7. Tenure: Initially for a period of one year and extendable for further period of one more year subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project 8. Advt No.: 10/2022

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Tirupati or IISER Tirupati, is a public research and education institute in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It is being established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development this year, in order to promote Higher Scientific Learning and Research as well as Scientific Exploration at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels of education and to create Scientists and Academicians of the highest quality.
IISER Tirupati is recognized an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. The institute was allocated to state of Andhra Pradesh as part of AP bifurcation bill. The foundation stone of IISER Tirupati was laid on 28 March 2015.
IISER Tirupati is initially offering Integrated Master's level (B.S.-M.S.) course.
