Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for one position of Project Fellow (01 post only) to work on a project sponsored by Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. The details are as follows:
1. Title: “In-Silico Drug Discovery Approach Targeting Fatty acid synthase (FASN) Ketoacyl reductase (KR) domain for Colorectal Cancer Treatment”
2. Post Name: Project Fellow (01 post only)
3. Duration of the project: One year (01 Year), initial appointment will be for six months and will be extended upon satisfactory report and availability of funds.
4. Nature of the Post: Temporary and co-terminus with the project.
5. Essential qualifications: As per Govt. rules: Post Graduate in Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/Organic Chemistry with minimum 55% marks.
6. Desirable Research Interest: Research experience in synthetic organic chemistry and computer aided drug design, and anticancer drug discovery etc.
7. Salary: Rs. 16000 p.m. (Consolidated) (HRA will not be provided)

Selection Procedure

About Indira Gandhi National Tribal University
The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India. It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007 and came into action on July 2008. The jurisdiction of the University extends to the whole country and it is fully funded by the Central Government through the University Grant Commission. The university caters to the tribals’ long cherished dream of higher education.
Indira Gandhi National Tribal University was established in the year 2007. It is located in Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh. The university offers courses in Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate, Diploma & Certificate.
