Educational Qualification: B.Sc, Diploma, 12TH, MLT
Applications are invited for the post of Lab Technician under the following project on a contractual basis.
1. Project Title: Strengthening the National Liver Disease Biobank by the Establishment of an Add-on COVID-19 BIOBANK
2. Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Chhagan Bihari, Additional Professor, Dept. of Pathology
3. Contract duration: One year, further extendable based on the performance, availability of funds and project requirements
4. Funding agency: Department of Biotechnology (DBT) Govt. of India, Ministry of Science and Technology
5. Laboratory: Biobank, ILBS, New Delhi
6. Post Name: Lab Technician
7. Essentials:
a) 10+2 with 2 years diploma in the medical/ research laboratory technology from a recognized institute with a minimum working experience of 4 years
b) B.Sc. in Medical Technology /B.Sc. MLT from a recognized university with 2 Years.
8. Desirable: experience of working in molecular laboratory and/or biobanking/ Cryobanking
9. Consolidated Remuneration - Rs.30,000/- per month
Pay Scale:

Age Limit: Upper Age limit (years): 40
Selection Procedure
Only the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and will be informed through their personal e-mail. Interviews to be held on 19th February 2022.
The appointment under the project shall be on a “contract basis” for a period of one year
