Skills / Eligibility
Walk-in-Interviews are to be held on in the Chamber of Director, IHBAS for filling up the posts of Junior Resident on Ad-hoc Basis in the following departments of IHBAS.
1. Post Name: Junior Resident
2. Department: Department of Psychiatry
3. No of Post: 06 (Six) posts (UR:01; OBC:05)
4. Qualification MBBS or equivalent recognized by MCI.
5. Scale of Pay: In the Pay Matrix Level-10 (Rs.56100-Rs.177500) +NPA
6. Vacancies may vary as per vacancy position prevailing on the date of Walk-in-Interview.
7. In the event of insufficient representatior against the reserved categories post. due to exigency of services in the department in public interest. the remaining reservec category posts will be filled up from the Unrescerved or any category on emergent basis initially for a period of less than 45 days on till the concerned reserved category Junior Resident or till the regular Junior Resident. joins in the Department. whichever is earlier

Age Limit: Upper age limit is 40 Years (on the date of walk-in-interview. (relaxable for up-to five years for SC/ST candidates and three year for OBC candidates).
Selection Procedure
Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
How to Apply:
1. Walk-in-Interviews are to be held on 22 October 2021 at 2.00 P.M. (Reporting time 12:00 Noon)
2. The interested and eligible candidates holding the requisite qualification from recognized University may apply in prescribed format affix a recent colored photograph, along-with attested photocopies of all documents in SSC (10) certificate for DOB, MBBS Passing Certificate;
3. MBBS mark sheet; internship completion certificate; Attempt Certificate; Delhi Medical Council registration, character certificate etc. and a demand draft of Rs. 500/-(exempted for SC/ST/PWD candidates) drawn in favor of the Director, JHBAS, Delhi-95
4. In case those who have applied for DMC and awaiting the certificate also allowed for interview provided that he/she must submit the valid DMC Registration certificate within one month of his/her joining

Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences (IHBAS) was established in compliance with the directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in response to a public interest litigation in 1993. The Institute is an autonomous body registered under the Societies Act 1860, funded jointly by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Government of NCT of Delhi. As an autonomous body, the institute has its Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations duly approved under the Societies Act. Minister for Health, Govt. of NCT of Delhi is the President and Chief Secretary, Govt. of NCT of Delhi is the Chairman of the Executive Council of the institute.
Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences was established in the year 1993. It is a mental health research institute located in New Delhi. The Institute is an autonomous body registered under the Societies Act 1860, funded jointly by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Government of NCT of Delhi. It was established in compliance with the directives of the Honorable Supreme Court in response to a public interest litigation in 1993.
