Maharashtra Public Service Commission Invites Application for Manager Recruitment 2022

1. Position: Manager

2. No of Posts: 01

3. Qualification: (i) Possess -

(a) A degree in Printing Technology in offset printing or letterpress printing; OR 

(b) A diploma of recognized institution in Printing Technology in offset printing or letterpress printing; OR

(c) A Certificate of Typography (Printing) granted by any recognized Institution; OR 

(d) A certificate of National Apprenticeship in printing; OR 

(e) A certificate of a completion of 4 years Departmental Apprenticeship; OR

(f) Any other qualification declared by Government to be equivalent to any of the above qualifications

(ii) Have a thorough knowledge of type faces, hand composition, monotype and linotype composing letterpress printing machine, different types of binging and working knowledge of various photo litho and photo engraving processes; OR Have a thorough knowledge (theoretical and practical) of photo litho, plate making, offset printing and photo engraving with a working knowledge of letter press printing operations;

(iii) Have knowledge of industrial cost accounting and estimating;

(iv) Have knowledge of factory administration with particular reference to production scheduling, cost control and labour relations; AND

4. Have gained experience in a responsible position in a printing concern which is the opinion of the Commission is of a good reputation, for not less than five years, out of which at least two years should be in a managerial position, after obtaining the qualifications mentioned
