Metal & Steel Factory (MSF) Ishapore, was established in year 1905, the Factory continued to function as a part of the Gun & Shell Factory, In 1920 it became an independent unit in the family of Ordnance Factories.

The prime objective of Metal & Steel Factory (MSF) Ishapore is to provide raw materials for Military Hardware to make quality Steel forging Ordnance Factories in the form of PYT Gun Barrels, Cartridge Cases, Shell Bars and other Bars Products and manufacture Non ferrous rods, Blanks, Strip as well as Die Casting and also Supply of High Technology Products.
