Educational Qualification: B.Sc, B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech
Food and nutritional Biotechnology division at NABI requires following research personnel purely on temporary basis.
1. Post Name: Project Fellow -I (Two Positions)
2. Project Title: Improvement in silicon uptake, fruit ripening, and yield by targeting multiple genes (SINIP2- 1, SIAP2a, SP5G and PL) with CRISPR/CAS9 approach in tomato”
3. Duration: Your appointment is co-terminus with the project along with availability of funds. It will not exceed beyond project.
4. Essential Qualification: - M.Tech/M.Sc. in Biotechnology or equivalent degree in Life Sciences or B. Tech in Biotechnology or B.Sc. in Agricultural Biotechnology with Minimum 55% marks
5. Emoluments: Rs. 12000/- per month plus HRA as applicable in Mohali.

National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is the first Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, established in India on 18th February 2010.
National Agri - Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is located in Mohali, Punjab. NABl, Bioprocessing Unit (BPU) and an Agri-Food Biotech Park(ABP) form an Agri-Food Biotech cluster that would act as a "biotechnology hub" in the region. The agri food cluster has been developed to connect 3 essential related biotechnologies of crops, food and nutrition, and carry out bench to market activity through its state and regional resource networks.
A translation unit would be established in NABI to form linkages in the region among relevant R&D units, Management Institute and Small & Medium industries. The unit will support, strengthen, and promote innovation.
