National Atmospheric Research (NARL) is engaged in frontline atmospheric research covering various aspects of the atmosphere right from the surface to the ionosphere including weather & climate and space weather using observations and modelling, and development of new experimental techniques and indigenization of technologies. Recently, NARL has initiated Planetary atmospheric I ionospheric research and related instrumentation.

NARL invites online applications for the following positions:

1. Post Name: Scientist / Engineer 'SC'

2. Basic Pay — Rs.56100/- p.m in L -10 (Rs.56100 - 177500/-) Plus TA and HRA as admissible [Reserved for PWD (OH or HI)] Orthopedically Handicapped, HI — Hearing Impaired]

4. Essential Qualification:

i. Graduate Degree in Engineering or Technology in any of the following or their equivalent fields : Electronics and Communication / Electronics / Electronics and Computer / Electronics and Control / Electronics and Communication System / Electronics and Instrumentation /

ii. Electronics and Telecommunication / Electronics and Telematics / Industrial Electronics / Telecommunication / Telecommunication and Information Technology / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation / Electronics and Electrical Communication / Electrical with Communication

iii. Radio Physics and Electronics / Electronics and Communication (Avionics) with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA Grade as declared by University and above.

5. Desirable Experience / Knowledge:

i. Post Graduate Degree in Engineering or Technology in any specialization of Electronics or Communication Engineering with First Class or equivalent CGPA Grade as declared by University. (OR) Experience in FPGA based system design with following skills : RTL / Logic design simulation and synthesis, Timing Analysis, Implementation in FPGA, test bench.

ii. Programming using VHDLorVeriIog. Xilinx ISE or Xilinx Vivado or Intel FPGA design tool. (OR) Experience in Microcontroller or Microprocessor based system design with following skills: Peripherals Interfacing with Microcontroller or Microprocessor. Embedded C orC++ programming.
