Educational Qualification: Any Graduate
Subject: Filling up of 1 post of Joint Director (Non-Medical) and 5 posts of Deputy Director (Non-Medical) in the area of General Administration and Finance in National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare -reg.
1. Position: Joint Director (Non-Medical)
2. No of post: 01
3. Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level – 12 of 7th CPC
4. Period of Deputation: Ordinarily 3 years including the period of Deputation in any other ex-cadre held immediately preceding the appointment in the same or some other organisation. The period of Deputation beyond 3 years is further extendable on a year to year basis not exceeding 7 years can be considered subject to Administrative exigencies. Any extension beyond the Deputation period of 3 years would be subject to overall performance.
5. Eligibility: Officers of the Central Govt. / State Govt./Autonomous bodies / Universities / Institutes of Central & State Govt.
6. Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognised University / Board.
7. Essential Experience: Officers holding analogous on a regular basis or 5 years regular service in Pay Matrix Level – 11 or equivalent.
8. Desirable Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in handling Administration / Establishment matters
1. Position: Deputy Director (Administration)
2. No of post: 04
3. Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level – 11
4. Period of Deputation: Ordinarily 3 years including the period of Deputation in any other ex-cadre held immediately preceding the appointment in the same or some other organisation. The period of Deputation beyond 3 years is further extendable on a year to year basis not exceeding 7 years can be considered subject to Administrative exigencies. Any extension beyond the Deputation period of 3 years would be subject to overall performance.

Selection Procedure
1. Selection will be based on Deputation Basis.
2. The qualification / eligibility prescribed is minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make a candidate eligible for selection. Based on their Bio-Data, the candidates will be short listed and only short listed candidates will be called for interview.

National Board of Examinations (NBE) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health, Government of India, and was established in 1975 at New Delhi to standardizing postgraduate medical education and examination in the country. The postgraduate degree awarded by the National Board of Examinations is called the Diplomate of National Board (DNB). The list of recognised qualifications awarded by the Board in various specialties and super-specialties are approved by the Government of India.
The National Board of Examinations conducts the largest portfolio of examinations in the field of medicine in India and perhaps at a Global level. The National Board of Examinations conducts the following examinations:
a) Centralized Entrance Test for admission to DNB Broad Specialties.
b) Centralised Entrance Test for admission to DNB Super Specialties.
