NCL Invites Application for Project Associate-II Recruitment 2021

Applications are invited online for filling up of position on a purely temporary basis, in the prescribed proforma. The details of the Sponsored Project under which engagement is proposed to be made is as under.

2. Title of Project: Process for the catalytic dehydration of methanol (MeOH) to dimethyl ether (DME)

3. Division: Catalysis & Inorganic Chemistry (CAT)

5. Qualification:

Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) Two(2) years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services

6. Desirable:

M.Sc in Physics with minimum 60% or equivalent marks from a recognized University or equivalent and Two(2) years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services

7. Salary:

(i) 35,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship(Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii) 28,000/- + HRA for others who do not

8. Job requirement:

The candidate must have hands-on experience in material synthesis, characterization, and analytical protocols. Must have good knowledge and research experience in the synthesis of structure-directing molecules, doping of metals over different supports, DME reforming and cell fabrication. The preference will be given to those candidates who have relevant research experience as mentioned above.

3. Interview will be conducted on 30/11/2021 from 10:30 AM onwards online through a suitable medium such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco WebEx etc.
