NHAI Invites Application for Assistant Advisor Recruitment 2021

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites applications from Retired Government Officers of Central / State Government / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies for engagement of Assistant Advisor (Land Acquisition) on full time contract basis for its Regional Office to look after the related office work.

1. Name of the Position: Assistant Advisor (Land Acquisition)

2. No. of Posts: 01

3. Place of Requirement: Regional Office-Vijayawada

4. Method of Recruitment: Contract Basis

5. Period of Contract:

Initial tenure of engagement will be for a period of one year in the first instance, which may be further extended by one more year, based on the requirements of NHAI and the satisfactory performance. There shall be no extension of contract beyond the period of two years under any circumstances. NHAI reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time, without assigning any reason.

6. Remuneration (per month):

i) For officers retired from Central / State Govts. / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies, who are in receipt of pension from Public Funds: In remuneration band of Rs.50,000 to Rs.60,000/- PM

ii) For officers retired from Central / State Govts. / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies, who are not in receipt of pension from Public Funds: In remuneration band of Rs.50,000 to Rs.75,000/- PM

7. Eligibility Criteria:

Retired Revenue Officials of Central / State Government / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies at the level equivalent of Janungo, Patwaris or above with good understanding of Revenue matters and experience in Land Acquisition. Preference shall be given for local Retired Revenue Officials having required eligibility criteria

8. Experience:

Retired Revenue Officers of Central / State Government / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies retired at the level equivalent to Kanungo, Patwaris or above - 10 years minimum experience in the relevant Revenue Department and have an in-depth understanding of the current land acquisition process - Prior experience as Assistant Advisor (LA) in any NHAI office is preferred

9. Job Profile:

(a) Monitoring : (1) Assist the Regional Officer-Vijayawada in liaising with the State Government Officials (2)Monitor the progress of LA targets across projects under RO-Vijayawada (3) Collate monthly reports in a pre-determined format (4) Other works, if any, assigned by RO from time to time

(b) Coordination : (1) Must visit each PIU/CALA within the jurisdiction of RO-Vijayawada at least once per month (2) Coordinate with PDs and CALAs through regular site-visits to identify issues faced across projects (3) Work with the relevant PD and CALA to find solutions to on-ground issues being faced pertaining to Land Acquisition
