Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up following positions against the DBT funded project entitled “Socio-economic upliftment of landless and marginal farmers of Yadgir district (an aspirational district) of Karnataka through goat rearing” at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad. 3. Eligibility:
a. MSc (Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology, Bioinformatics)/Post Graduate Degree in Veterinary Science (MVSc) with NET qualification or,
b. Non-NET-qualified candidates with post graduate degree in above mentioned subjects can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.
4. Desired Experience: Candidate with experience in Molecular biology/Genomics/Genome sequencing/Animal Genetics and breeding/ Nanotechnology and having expertise to work with large animal model will be given preference.
5. Fellowship amount: Rs.31000/-PM+24% HRA as per the DST guidelines.

3. Eligibility: B.Sc. (Life sciences/Agricultural sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology), Intermediate with Diploma in animal husbandry or veterinary sciences
4. Desired Experience: Candidate with experience in large animal handling, large animal breeding and management of goats with ability to speak English, Kannada, Hindi and Telugu will be given preference.
5. Fellowship amount: Rs.20,000/-PM+24% HRA as per the DST guidelines.

The National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), was established in the year 2010, It’s an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology comes under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
The vision and mission of the institute are to develop sustainable and global competitive livestock industry through innovative technology, pharmaceutical and biologics for animal health care.
The NIA collaborated with the university of Hyderabad, conducting M.Sc & Ph.d. Programs to train young scientist in discipline of, Translational Research, Genomics, Nutrition Enrichment, Transgenic Technology, Infectious Diseases, Reproductive Biotechnology, etc.
