Candidates are invited to attend Written Test/ Walk-in Interview between 9.30 AM to 10.00 AM for project posts under Tondiarpet Oil Leak health Impact Study project on contract basis as detailed below (please refer website for changes if any in the date of interview)
1. Name of the Project: Tondiarpet Oil leak Health Impact Study
2. Name of the post: Project Staff Nurse
3. Place of Interview: ICMR – NIE, Chennai
4. No. of posts & Category: 04 (UR-02, OBC-01, SC-01)
5. Place of posting: ICMR – NIE, Chennai
6. Essential Qualification: Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and registered nurse with any State Nursing Council or B.Sc. in Nursing
7. Desirable Qualification and Experience: Experience in data collection in field-based health research surveys Experience in clinical examination Experience in blood and urine sample collection Experience in anthropometry data collection Experience in spirometry testing Knowledge of computer applications
8. Remuneration: Rs.31,500/- Per month
9. Nature of Duties: Coordinate/conduct field-based surveillance Collect baseline socio-demographic information Carry out clinical assessment of study participants Collection of blood, urine and other samples Collect treatment related information from the participants To carry out spirometry and heart-rate variability testing Perform any other work assigned by supervisory officers
10. Duration: Four months

Age Limit: 30 years (Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms)
Selection Procedure
The Director/Selection Committee has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason thereof. Canvassing and bringing pressure in any form for short listing, interview and employment will be a disqualification and barred from selection process
