The following post are to be filled purely on temporary basis from willing eligible candidates for the below mentioned projects implemented by this institute as detailed thereon.
1. Name of the Post: Computer Programmer

3. Name of the Project: "Evaluation of WHO Verbal Autopsy Tool for assigning cause of death in rural India: A mixed method study"
4. Consolidated Salary: 32,000/- Per Month
5. Duration: Two years
6. Essential Qualification Experience: Master's degree in Computer Application/ Information Technology/Computer Science from a recognized institution /luniversity OR B.E/B.Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer science/Computer Technology/ Information Technology from a recognized institution/university
7. Desirable Qualification: Experience in R Programming, ODK software development, mobile bas application.
8. Place of Work and Posting: ICMR-NIMS, New Delhi
9. Nature of Duties: Development of mobile based application

National Institute of Medical Statistics (NIMS) was established in the year 1977, by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, too provide technical expertise on research Methodology, Programme, Evaluation, Mathematical Modeling, Data Analysis etc.
The aim of National Institute of Medical Statistics (NIMS) is to support excellence in the development, application and dissemination of Statistical Science through technical consultation and Statistical Service Research, Education by Advancing Research and Promoting Sound Statistical Practice to inform public policy and improve human welfare.
The vision & mission of National Institute of Medical Statistics (NIMS) is to promote and undertake research on statistical method in the field of Health, Medicine, Epidemiology and other allied areas and provide statistical service and assistance to Central, State and Local Bodies in handling problems related to dynamics of population. They also conduct training in applied bio-statistics for statisticians, Medical and Paramedical Personnel, etc.
