Applications are invited from eligible candidates by speed post for the following position's under the project entitled "Consortia for Research Platform (CRP) in Biofortification in Selected Crops for Nutritional Security" funded by ICAR at this Institute.

3. Essential Qualifications: Post-Graduates in Biochemistry, Food Chemistry, Microbiology. Analytical Chemistry and Biotechnology from recognized University. Two years of research experience on food composition/nutrient analysis.
4. Desirable: Hands on experience to work on HPLC/GC/ICP-MS/GC-MS/Nitrogen analyzer
5. Nature of duties: Food Sample collection and food nutrient analysis
6. Salary Rs,35,000/- per month without any other allowances
7. Tenure Upto 31.3.2022

Selection Procedure
After verification of the applications, the names of eligible candidates will be displayed on the official website www.nin.res.in for online interviews. Based on the Selection Committee's decision, the applications will be shortlisted and the link will be sent to the shortlisted candidates for online Interviews through Video call/ Video-Conferencing. The candidates have to make their own arrangements for Video Call/ Video-Conferencing. The applicants are advised to visit the website regularly for any updates and changes in the recruitment process.

The last date for receiving of applications will be 21 days from the date of uploading the advertisement in ICMR-NIN and ICMR websites or as on JAN 2UZZ Applications received after due date will not be considered under any circumstances. 2. National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as 'Beri-Beri' Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. In 1928, It emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr McCarrison being appointed as its first Director. NIN was was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
