Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Highly motivated and eligible candidates are invited to apply for JRF position (Leading to Ph.D.) at the ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad.
1. Position: Junior Research Fellow — One
2. Essential qualification: 1st Class M.Sc. in Nutrition/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Food Science and Nutrition/Food Technology/Other life sciences from a recognized University qualified with ICMR/CSIR/UGC/DST/DBT NET JRF Exam With JRF Fellowship Only. Candidates Qualified For NET For Project JRF Or Lectureship Are Not Eligible To Apply.
3. Desirable Qualification: Prior research experience, Nutrient analysis, Handling analytical equipments.
4. Areas of research: Nutrient and Antinutrient profiling of different rice cultivars
5. Stipend: As per rules of ICMR / CSIR / DBT / DST / UGC. The candidates should bring all originals certificates of educational qualifications, ICMR/CSIR/DST/DBT NET JRF-fellowship qualified letter and Community Certificate along with a set of photocopies of the same duly self attested and latest passport size photo and complete bio-data while attending the personal discussion/interview.

Selection Procedure
Short-listed candidates will be called for personal interview/discussion with the Principal Investigator/Academic Council of NIN.

The last date for receiving applications is 17th March 2022 till 5:30 pm.
Important Instructions:
ICMR/CSIR/DST/DBT Fellowship Rules are applicable for the above JRF position. The selected candidate will have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute. ICMR-NIN has right to cancel the position, if no suitable applications are received.

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as 'Beri-Beri' Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. In 1928, It emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr McCarrison being appointed as its first Director. NIN was was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
