Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited through email from eligible candidates for the following post/position for intramural research projects funded by ICMR-NIN. Interested candidates may apply in the
1. Post Name: Senior Research fellow
2. Essential qualifications: 1st Class in M.Sc (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Life sciences At Least 2 years research experience.
3. Desirable: Experience in animal handling procedures, maintenance of cell lines and molecular work
4. Consolidated Salary/Stipend: Rs 35,000/- pm
5. Tenure: One year, extendable for one more year based on the performance

Selection Procedure
Candidates who have completed Ph.D or submitted thesis are not eligible to apply. The shortlisted candidates will be intimated the date and time of the virtual interview through email.

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as 'Beri-Beri' Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. In 1928, It emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr McCarrison being appointed as its first Director. NIN was was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
