Eligibility criteria for posts – Consultant (Preparation of DPR, Course Material etc.) and Young Professionals (2)

1. Position: Consultant (Preparation of DPR, Course Material etc.)

2. Salary: Rs. 1.10 Lakh p.m.

3. Qualification: Master's degree in Food Technology/ Food Engineering/ Agricultural Economics/ PGDM with specialization in Agri/Food Business Management from reputed National/International University/ Institute

4. Experience: More than 5 years’ experience in preparing DPRS/ bankable projects, providing consultancy services to FPI (preferably to Micro Enterprises) for technology upgradation, new product development, and experience in preparing course material, desirable

5. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of DPR/Bankable projects for Micro enterprises of course curriculum and course material for training modules.
  • Identifying capacity-building needs at all levels and procuring necessary inputs from SNA and preparing training modules and materials for the same and organizing training wherever needed for capacity building.
  • Any other work assigned by the competent authority

2. Salary: Rs. 60,000/ month

3. Qualification: MSc. / M. Tech in Food Technology/ Food Engineering from reputed National/ International University/ Institute.

4. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience.

5. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support the Lead Project Manager in co-ordination and Knowledge Management.
  • Provide their input in disciplines like Food technology/Agri business/Rural Development/Data Analysis/Project Management etc.
  • To work on special tasks related to implementation of project as and when conveyed by MOFPI-IIFPT or the PMU (in accordance with the approval of MOFPI-IIFPT).
  • Support the PMU in all day today tasks especially in data synthesis, preparation of power point presentation and Reports.
  • Any other work assigned by the competent authority

Pay Scale:
INR
60000 - 110000(Per Month)

Selection Procedure

Instructions for Online written examination

1. Examination will be taken up by the candidates from their home/locations

2. Mock test date for candidates will be conducted to familiarize with the software and to verify system requirements

3. Syllabus for examination: Related to food processing sector

4. Question paper pattern: MCQs and essay types questions;

5. The Recommended Configuration (Minimum) for the Laptop/Desktop Device to be used for Exam is:

• OS – Windows 8/8.1/10

• Processor - Pentium i3

• RAM – 4 GB

• HDD – 10 GB free space available

• Camera

• Microphone

6. Online interview will be conducted through Video conferencing.

7. It is the responsibility of the candidate to make arrangement for system (Desktop/Laptop with the adequate configuration) with internet connections to take up the examination as well as interview from their locations. NIFTEM Thanjavur will not held responsible for any lapses.

8. An online written exam followed by online interview, will be conducted for the eligibile candidates. The appointment will be on contract basis with probation of 6 months. Performance of the appointed person will be evaluvated every year for extension.
