National Institute of Immunology (NII) does advanced research to understand body's defense mechanisms for developing modalities of immune system manipulation that can intervene with disease processes. National Institute of Immunology does translational research in the area of vaccines and drug development. The research is focused on designing novel immunogens, anticancer agents and therapeutic inhibitors against pathogens of public health significance. The institute also provides teaching and training in advanced biological sciences. Number of Vacancy: 1 Posts
Educational Qualification: Officers of the Central Government/State Government, SemiGovernment Organizations, Universities, Research Institutions, Autonomous Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings, holding analogous post in terms of the pay scale and status; or the Officer has worked in the lower post for at least five years in Level-10 of Pay Matrix, as per 7th CPC (PB-3, GP of Rs. 5400/- as per 6th CPC, pre-revised) as Public Relations Officer or equivalent with Master’s Degree in any discipline preferably with Science, are eligible to apply on Deputation/Short Term Contract basis.

Level-11
Age Limit: 56 years.
