Skills / Eligibility
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Project Associate (PA) for the GAIL project titled “Design and development of a fully automated prototype of the IITM biomass gasification system” in the Department of Energy and Environment, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. 557/21-22/GAIL/DEE/VMJ 1. Position: Project Associate 2. No of vacancy: 01 3. Essential Qualification: B. E/ B. Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Instrumentation with minimum of 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized University/ Institute. Candidate should have expertise software skills in AutoCAD/ Solid works/ Ansys. GATE qualified candidates will be given preference. Relevant research/ teaching experience as evidence frompublished papers in standard refereed journals will be considered. 4. Salary: INR 15000 (Consolidated pay) per month 5. Duration of Project: 36 Months (extension based on performance review every 12 months)

Selection Procedure
1. The date of written test and interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates by E-mail. No T.A/D. A will be paid for attending the interview.
2. The selection committee decision is final. If any applicant is found to canvass in any manner, the candidate selection shall be summarily rejected.

2. Preference will be given to the candidate who is having good academic record, research potential, and relevant experience. However, the selection of the candidate would be based on their performance in the Interview.
3. The candidate selected as Project Associate will be permitted to register for MS Programme as per NITT rules and regulations.
4. The last date for receipt of applications is 09.03.2022.
