Skills / Eligibility

Applications are invited online up to 5.30 PM of 15.03.2022 for the following position which are to be filled purely on temporary & contract basis at ICMR-NIRTH, Jabalpur for a period up to 30th June, 2022:

1. Post name : Project Research Assistant

2. No of Post : 01

3. Essential qualification : Graduate in Science/ relevant subjects/ from a recognized University with three years work experience from a recognized Institution or Master’s degree in the relevant subjects.

4. Desirable qualification :

a) Knowledge of computer applications and worked in MS-Office areessential.

b) Master degree in Anthropology/Social Science /Psychology/Statistics/BioStatistics will be preferred.

5 .Consolidated monthly salary : Rs.31,000/-

6. Work Responsibility: All responsibilities of fieldwork, data collection, IEC activities implementation. Skilled in field management and help in project report writing works etc. and other work assigned by the PI & Director.

3. Essential qualification : Intermediate or 12th Pass in Science stream from recognized board with DOEACC ‘A’ level from a recognized institute or two years experience in EDP work in government, autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization. A speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer

4. Desirable qualification :

a) 12th pass in Mathematics will be preferred

b) Knowledge of Field work

c)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications/IT/ Computer Science from recognized Institutions/ University.

d) Knowledge of DTP Package and use of software programs such as CS-Pro and SPSS will be an added qualification

5 .Consolidated monthly salary : Rs. 18,000/-

6. Work Responsibility: Knowledge of data entry and data management related to project. He/she will be responsible for data entry at unit data management of the project.

About National Institute for Research in Tribal Health

National Institute of Research in Tribal Health (NIRTH) was established on 1st March 1948 in Jabalpur, to improve health and create awareness among tribal society. NIRTH was formerly Regional Medical Research Center for Tribals. It is permanent institution of Indian Council of Medical Research under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health of Family Welfare, Government of India.

The institute perform several important research project on Malaria, Filaria, Tuberculosis, Diarrhea, Virology, Fluorosis and Social Science. NIRTH has a sickle cell clinic, referral laboratory intermediate for tuberculosis, state referral laboratory for HIV/AIDS, Apex for Dengue and Chikungunya for Madhya Pradesh and Chitties Ghar are the VRDL for diagnosis of Swine Fiu and other communicable viral diseases in the state.
