An Online Interview for the engagement of a JRF/Research Associate (on contract basis) for a Research Project in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on Postponed to 5 th March 2022 1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow/ Research Associate 2. Duration of Engagement : One year (on contract basis) and extendable based on the performance of the candidate and availability of the project fund. 3. Name of the sponsoring Agency : DRDO 4. Name of Project : "Synchronization in Single Carrier and Multi Carrier Underwater Wireless Acoustic Communication System (UWACS)" 5. Qualifications : B.Tech and/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication or allied branches. 6. Consolidated monthly pay : (i) Rs. 31,000/- + 18% HRA (Candidate with M.Tech and GATE score) (ii) Rs.25,000/- + 18% HRA (Candidate with B.Tech)

Selection Procedure
The interview will be conducted online and the date of which will be informed to the selected candidates through their e-mail.

1. Candidates have to send an application form in the prescribed format (annexed) as e-mail to [email protected] with subject “Application for JRF/RA: DRDO/ECED”.
2. The self attested copy of all the relevant certificates/document proofs scanned and merged as a single PDF file also has to be sent along with the application form
3. The Institute reserves the right to relax qualification and experience for the candidates with exceptional credentials.
4. Applicants who are employed in government or any other organizations are required to send a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer, if selected for the interview.
5. Last date to receive the submission of online application extended to 02.03.2022 at 4.00pm
