Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for 01 (one) position of JRF in the following DST-SERB funded sponsored research project:
1. Name of the Post: JRF
2. No of Post: 01
3. Project Title: Investigations on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) based optical sensing with an emphasis on the role of spin waves and magnonics in related materials
4. File Number: CRG/2019/002636
5. Department: Applied Sciences
6. Duration of the project: Dec. 2019 to Dec. 2022
7. Essential Qualification: First division/class Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant area (Physics/Applied Physics/Photonics/Electronics or any relevant area) with CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE score or equivalent examination.
8. Desirable Qualification& Experience: Knowledge/practical experience in Plasmonics/Nanophotonics/Optics/Magnonics and working knowledge of Numerical simulation techniques/Computer programming (preferably MATLAB)
9. Tenure of Fellowship: Till the end of the project
10. Fellowship: As per SERB Norms. Rs. 31,000/- (with HRA as applicable)

INR
31000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (for JRF). Age relaxation as per GOI norms.
Selection Procedure
1. The shortlisted candidates to be called for interview would be notified by email only.
2. No interview call letter will be sent via post. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
3. Selected candidate will have to join the assignment immediately on the receipt of the offer letter.
