Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Manager – PMU Lead

  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in engineering / technology / management (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 08 years of experience in large-scale government IT programmes. At least 5 years in programme / project management roles. Experience working with Central Government Ministries, Regulators, or Statutory Bodies. Strong understanding of SI-driven delivery models and governance frameworks.
  • Desirable: PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification preferred.

Eligibility for Business Analyst

  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in engineering / IT / Management (MBA Preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in large IT systems. Experience in government digital platforms, preferably health or regulatory domains. Strong exposure to workflow modelling, UAT, and functional audits.

Eligibility for Technical Lead

  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in engineering / technology (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 08 years of experience in enterprise IT systems. Strong experience in: Application Architecture, Infrastructure Provisioning & Management, Large-scale government IT projects, Handling SI & CRs. Exposure to audits, compliance reviews, and security frameworks.

About NeGD

In 2009, National e-Governance Division was created by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology as an Independent Business Division under the Digital India Corporation {erstwhile Media Lab Asia}, a section 8 not-for-profit company. Since 2009, NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance Projects; providing technical and advisory support to Ministries/ Departments, both at Central and State levels along with other Government organisations.

NeGD’s major operational areas include programme management, project development, technology management, capacity building, awareness and communication related activities under the flagship Digital India Programme. NeGD has developed and is managing several National Public Digital Platforms such as DigiLocker, Entity Locker, UMANG, OpenForge, API Setu, myScheme, India Stack Global, Meri Pehchaan, UX4G etc.
