Online applications are invited from outstanding sports persons having minimum sports norms and educational qualification as given in Para 2 & 4 below in the following sports fields for recruitment on Gr. 'C' posts PB-I Rs. 5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000 (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level - 02/03) against the Sports Quota 2021-22 on North Central Railway:

1. Name of the Post: Sports Quota (Group C)

2. No of Post: 21

3. Pay: For PB-I Rs. 5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000 (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level - 02/03)

4. Minimum Educational Qualification:

(a) For GP 1900/2000 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level - 02/03): The candidate should have minimum qualification of Intermediate or Equivalent Examination passed from any Recognized Board.

i) For Technical Posts candidate shall be passed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI. The Certificate of Act Apprenticeship/ITI must be approved by SCVT/NCVT.

ii) For appointment against sports quota in Technician-III, the minimum educational qualification should be prescribed as 10th• pass, However, the training period for such Sports quota appointee will be 3 (three) Years unless they passes ITI qualification in the relevant Trade, in which case it will be 6 months.

Age Limit: 18 - 25 years as on 01.01.2022. No age relaxation is permissible.

Selection Procedure

The recruitment will be based on trials and assessment of sports achievements etc. The candidates who are found fit in trials will only be considered for next stage of recruitment process. The recruitment process will be finalized by the HQ office. An application/candidature of a candidate can be rejected at any stage, if found false and Railway will not communicate the reasons whatsoever.

How to Apply:

The Online application, complete in all respect, can be submitted up to 25/12/2021 till 23.59 Hrs. No physical copy of application is required to be sent to RRC, Allahabad.

1. Candidates should apply only through Online mode by visiting the website of http://www.rrcpryj.org. Before applying, candidates are advised to go through the instructions available on the website. The onus is on the candidate to prove that all the information provided/ submitted by him/her in the application is True.

2. Candidates are required to carefully fill/provide all the details information regarding personal details/Bio-Data, Examination fee etc. through ONLINE application.

3. The examination fee of Rs. 500 for each category should be paid Online using internet banking or debit/credit cards (service charges apply for all which will be borne by the candidates). After making payment of fee relevant details are required to be filled in the prescribed column of the Online application.

4. Candidates are required to upload their scanned colour photograph of size 3.5cm x 3.5cm (Black & White photograph is prohibited) in JPEG format and 20 kb to 30 kb at appropriate place of website.

5. Candidates are required to upload their scanned Signature (in English or in Hindi) in JPEG format and 10 kb to 15 kb at appropriate place of website.

6. During submission of Online application, a Registration Number will be issued to each applicant. Candidates are advised to preserve/note their Registration Number for further stages of recruitment process / correspondence with RRC concerned.
