Educational Qualification: M.E/M.Tech
A walk-In Interview for temporary post on contractual basis has been scheduled to be held on 17/12/2021 for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST sponsored project (MRDP). The details of the post and qualifications are given institute website: www.nerist.ac.in
Details of the eligibility criteria for different posts along with the monthly emoluments are given below:
1. Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
2. No. of Posts : One
3. Monthly Emoluments: ₹ 31,000/- + HRA @ 8% for first two years and ₹ 35,000/- + HRA @ 8% for third year (Consolidated)
4. Eligibility Criteria: M. Tech. in Soil and Water Engg/ Irrigation and Drainage Engg/Hydrology Hydrogeology/Remote Sensing and GIS
5. Other Required Skill/ Experience: NET/GATE, experience in handling geospatial software, Hydrological/ Hydrogeological/Ground Water modeling will be given preference

About North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology
North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) is a science and technology-oriented higher education institute in Nirjuli, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. It was established in 1984. It is a deemed university, autonomous and controlled by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Education. The institute is managed by a Board of Management, comprising representatives of MHRD. The state governor of Arunachal Pradesh is the de facto head of the highest body, NERIST Society, which consists of education ministers of all North Eastern States. The Board of Management is headed by the Chairman, Air Marshal (Retd.) Pranab Kumar Barbora.
The undergraduate programmes of Engineering are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
