Educational Qualification: Young Professional II( Office): Graduates (with minimum 60% marks)
and MBA (Finance/HR) or equivalent
with minimum 60% marks/ CA(Inter)/
ICWA (Inter)/ CS (Inter) having at least
one year of working experience in
central govt/ State govt/ central PSUs.
Knowledge of IT application, virtual
meeting platforms and computer skills
(MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tally
etc) will be added advantage.

Young Professional II, Engineering ( Mechanical): B. Tech. in Mechanical engineering
having at least one year of working
experience in operation and maintenance
of laboratory or equivalent facility,
preferably containment laboratory .

Young Professional II, Engineering ( Electrical): B. Tech. in Electrical engineering
having at least one year of working
experience in operation and maintenance
of laboratory or equivalent facility,
preferably containment laboratory .

Young Professional II, Engineering ( Instrumentation): B. Tech. in instrumentation engineering
having at least one year of working
experience in operation and maintenance
of laboratory or equivalent facility,
preferably containment laboratory .

ICAR- Project Directorate on Foot and Mouth Disease, was established in July 1971,with the vision to make India free from Foot and Mouth Diseases in livestock of farms, ICAR Perform activity of, epidemiological surveillance through regularly monitoring, antigenicity and genomic makeup of the Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), virus strains responsible for disease outbreaks and also provide training in diagnosis epidemiology.

The objective of Indian Center of Agriculture & Research,(ICAR) and Project Directorate on Foot and Mouth Disease,is to monitoring suitability of the vaccine strains in use along with maintenance of National Repository of FMD virus maintenance and supply of most appropriate vaccine strain to the FMD vaccine manufacturers etc.
