Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D

The Quantum Information and Computing lab at RRI Bangalore is working on several projects in the domain of photonic quantum science and technologies including secure quantum communications, quantum information processing, and quantum computing as well as quantum foundations. Opportunities are announced in research funded by projects under:

1. Manpower Position: Scientist C

2. Essential Qualification:

(i) Doctoral Degree in Physics from a recognized university or equivalent.

(ii) Three years’ additional research experience.

3. Desirable Experience: PhD AND research experience in the domain of experimental quantum science and technologies.

4. Monthly Emoluments: PhD AND research experience in the domain of experimental quantum science and technologies.

Selection Procedure

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for online interviews. Shortlisted candidates will be requested to appear for a personal or online (zoom/skype) interview at the Raman Research Institute. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interviews. Mere fulfilling the essential and desired qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be called for interview.
