Educational Qualification: M.E/M.Tech
Applications are invited for the position of one (01) JRF and one (01) Research Assistant in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering; and Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology, Jyoti Vihar, Burla, Odisha, under the research project sponsored by SERB and OSHEC (OURIIP-2020 seed fund). The details of the projects are as follows:
1. Name of the post: Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) (01)
2. Research Project: Design and Implementation of Low Complexity Wavelet Encoder using Approximate Computations for wireless visual sensor network applications
3. Tenure of appointment: The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, and /or till the fund is available. Tentatively: 3 Years
4. Fellowship amount: Rs.31,000/- (fixed) per month
5. Essential qualifications: Candidates with M.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electronics/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the recognized university are eligible to apply.
6. Desirable: Experience on VHDL coding, familiar with Synopsys EDA Tools, FPGA and Vivado Tools is highly desirable. Good knowledge of MATLAB programming and fundamental concepts of signal processing algorithms will be an added advantage.
