Educational Qualifications: Post Graduate in Hospitality/Tourism or MBA from a recognized University/Institute And (+) Full time Degree /Full time three years Diploma in Hotel Administration/Hospitality Management/Hotel Management/Hospitality Administration/Culinary Arts/Culinary Science with minimum of 55% marks 6. Mandatory Qualification: Candidate should have qualified NHTET with prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT. 1. Name of the Post: Teaching Associate 2. Nature of Appointment: Contract 3. Consolidated Pay: Rs 25,000/- 4. No. of Posts: 02 5. Educational Qualifications: a. Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration/Hotel Management after 10+2 from a Recognized University and full time Master’s degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration/ Hotel Management securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate either in Bachelors or Master’s degree. b. OR Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration/Hotel Management after 10+2 from a Recognized University securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate with at least 2 years industry experience. AND Must have qualified NHTET conducted by NCHMCT with prescribed percentage. Candidate having PhD in Hospitality / Hotel Management topic need not to qualify the prescribed NHTET. 1. The date and venue of the skill test/interview shall be informed later on website and will be intimated to short listed candidates only.

The filled in application form must reach “ The Principal , State Institute of Hospitality Management, Varakkal Beach , West Hill, Kozhikode-673005 Kerala” on or before 10.03.2022 up to 05:00 pm Corrigendum/ Addendum/ Amendments/ Clarification etc with respect to the above, if any, shall be posted in Institute website
3. No separate advertisement shall be published in the Newspaper in this regard.
1. Application should be sent in a cover super scribed “Application for the post of (Name of the post applied for)”
2. Applications received without certified copies of required certificates such as educational qualifications, caste/community etc. and those received after the prescribed last date for receipt of application, will be rejected without any communication to the candidate.
3. Wrong declarations/submissions of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
4. Mere fulfilling of essential qualifications and experience requirement would not entail a candidate to be called for test or interview. No correspondence will be entertained from the applicant before the selection. The decision of the Institute would be final.
5. SIHM-K reserves the right to cancel the whole process of Recruitment at any stage without assigning any reason.
6. The Institute reserves the right to consider candidates for selection by suitable selection procedure and at its discretion may conduct interview / written test /skill test for above posts to select the candidates on the basis of merit.
7. SIHM-K will not be responsible for postal delay / loss in transit in submission of application within specified time.
8. No TA/DA shall be payable to any candidate for attending the interview/selection process.

The State Institute of Hospitality Management Kozhikode is an Autonomous Institute jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala. Registered under the Society of Registration Act with District Registrar of Societies, Kozhikode.

The facilities and amenities have been created adhering to accredited norms of the National Council for Hotel Management in respect to building planning, staffing, equipment requirements, and infrastructure facilities. The Institute is fully equipped with appropriate laboratories and classrooms for the B.Sc. Degree Program. Institute is also outfitted with experienced faculty, well-appointed & well-equipped labs, classrooms, guest rooms, and a well-furnished library.
