Applications are hereby invited for walk-in- interview on engagement of Junior Research Fellow (01 NO.) for College of Agriculture, (Extended Campus) Majhian, Dakshin Dinajpur, on purely Temporary basis under the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, funded project entitled "ldentification and characterization of marker gene(s) for F-N oxalyl-L-a, J}- diaminopyopionic acid production in Lathyrus sativus."

1. Applicants have to appear in person before a selection committee for a walk-in-interview at the chamber of The Director of Research, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Pundibari, Cooch Behar. Preference will be given to those candidates whose research interest and work experience has relevance to the mandate of the Project.
2. The selected candidate will be offered Fellowship/ remuneration as furnished above. The above positions are purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project.
3. There is no provision of re- employment after termination of the project.
4. No TA/DA will be admissible to any candidate for attending the interview.
5. Candidate should not have any type of conviction in the court anywhere in India.
a) The candidate should bring two copies of application along with detailed bio-data and two sets of photocopies of all documents, mark sheets and certificates starting from Madhyamik examination duly attested by a Gazetted Officer / Head of the Institution at the time of appearing at the interview.
b) The candidate should bring two numbers of recent passport size photograph and the original mark sheets and certificates starting from Madhyamik examination and other experience certificate, if any.
c) The candidate should bring the proof of Date of Birth e.g. CBSE/ HSC/ SSC/ Matriculation certification.
d) The candidate should bring the SC/ST/OBC certificate, if applicable.
e) Date And Time Of Interview: on 25th March 2022, At 12.00 Noon

The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya with its headquarter at Pundibari (Coochbehar) started functioning on and from 1st February, 2001 for the development of agriculture and for the furtherance of the advancement of agricultural education, prosecution of agricultural research and extension in the eight northern districts of West Bengal. The University took birth through bifurcation from the Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya. The University has three degree programmes covering Agriculture, Horticulture and Agricultural Engineering disciplines along with the post graduate programmes in every discipline of Agriculture and Horticulture Faculties. The implementation of IVth Deans’ Committee Recommendation in case of rules, regulations and syllabi in UG & PG is overwhelming and praiseworthy. The Vth Deans’ Committee Recommendation for degree courses has been started from the academic year 2016-17. The University is fostering collaboration with Indian and foreign individuals and organizations for the purposes of better teaching and research prospects.
