Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the SERB - CRG Funded Project in School of Mechanical Engineering (SMEC), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). Vellore – 632 014.

1. Title of the Project: “Sustainable Biogasoline and Biocrude Fuels Production through Hydrothermal Liquefaction of Biomass and Its Utilization”

2. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

3. Qualification:

First Class in M.E. / M.Tech. (Thermal Engineering/Energy Engineering/Internal Combustion Engineering/Automobile Engineering/Chemical Engineering) with a valid GATE score & strong subject knowledge, commitment, and motivation to pursue research in the subject area.

4. Desirable (if any) Candidates having knowledge in the field of Waste to Energy Conversion, Pyrolysis, Gasification, Internal Combustion Engines, Design and Analytical skills and publications in referred journals will be preferred.

5. Stipend: Rs. 31000/- per month for Two Years (Consolidated) Rs. 35000/- per month for Third Year (Consolidated)

6. Project Duration: 3 Years
