What is the syllabus of the PGT exam?

The UP PGT syllabus includes concerned subjects like Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Maths, Biology, Psychology, etc. The UP PGT exam pattern 2021 reveals that there are 125 multiple choice questions for 3.4 marks each. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours.

Is there a negative marking in NVS PGT?

All questions will be multiple choice based. No negative marking criterion has been provided by the Samiti.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for NVS PGT?

1. A PG program from Regional College of Education of NCERT OR From any other NCTE recognized university / Institute. Also, only those candidates who have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in total can apply.
2. Having a B. Ed degree is not mandatory for those who have four years of integrated degrees from the Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE-recognized institutes. OR
3. Master’s Degree from a recognized University with 50% marks.
